Liverpool have agreed to sign 18-year-old forward Djylian N’Guessan from Saint-Étienne for about €5m (£4.3m), with the deal to take effect in January and the player to spend the first half of the season on loan at Brest in Ligue 1. The transfer is part of Liverpool’s push to recruit young talent through its Global Talent team, highlighting N’Guessan’s strong youth international pedigree.
