Sei Young Kim shot an 8-under 64 at TPC Boston to take the first-round lead at the FM Championship, closing strong with an eagle and multiple birdies after a slower start as soft greens aided scoring. Yamashita Miyu and Emily Pedersen were one stroke back in 7-under, with Kim relying on 24 putts as the field assembled on a course that saw the LPGA’s largest non-major purse of $4.4 million.
