Two men, Anthony Belser and George Mayo, were sentenced to 25 and 40 years respectively for a $362,844 Walmart theft scheme spanning 11 states over 10 months, with investigators noting a consistent method of hiding merchandise inside larger items and later transferring it into emptied boxes. Prosecutors said the case relied on a Georgia-led investigation and charged both with RICO-related counts related to organized retail theft.
