Brazilian 20-year-old Joao Fonseca has withdrawn from the US Open due to an abdominal injury, marking another notable absence in the men's singles draw. His withdrawal contributes to a field lacking several top players, including Sinner, Draper, and Rune, potentially opening the tournament for new contenders.
