About Martian Manhunter

J'onn J'onzz, better known as the Martian Manhunter, is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by writer Joseph Samachson and artist Joe Certa, the character first appeared in the story "The Manhunter from Mars" in Detective Comics #225. A roster member of the Justice League of America, he is one of the seven founding members and a reoccurring member for many incarnations and derivatives.
