About Monsters, Inc.

Monsters, Inc. is an American media franchise of Pixar that began with the 2001 film of the same name. The franchise takes place in a world parallel to the Earth where monsters are the citizens of society and harness the energy of human children to power their cities. The company known as Monsters, Inc. accomplishes this with portal doors which lead to their bedrooms.
