Saudi Arabia issued no public alerts before four Houthi-attributed Riyadh attacks that killed at least 18 and injured more than 300, including deadly airport strikes.
Indian airlines, including Air India, Air India Express, Akasa Air and IndiGo, suspended or cancelled Riyadh flights amid heightened security concerns following attacks on Saudi airports; some flights returned or diverted. The reported attacks killed three people and injured dozens, while affected passengers were offered refunds or rebooking options.
A missile hit a Riyadh passenger terminal on Oct. 10, wounding dozens and emptying the airport as President Trump said he was not happy and U.S. citizens were told to stay away.
A Saudi Arabian Airlines plane was heavily damaged while parked at Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport during a Houthi missile attack, though reports differed on whether it was struck directly or hit by interception debris. The Saudi-led coalition said it intercepted missiles, while the attacks disrupted flights and debris reportedly damaged nearby buildings.
