Jackson Tours Georgia Ahead of Early Voting
Republican gubernatorial nominee Rick Jackson campaigned across Georgia with Gov. Brian Kemp and First Lady Marty Kemp ahead of early voting, ending the tour with a Columbia County rally. Jackson said he would seek to lower housing costs by streamlining approvals and food prices by rebuilding agricultural processing and storage capacity, and pledged to address health-insurance claim denials. In Columbia County, he said data centers should require community approval, meet strict environmental standards and deliver economic benefits locally. Kemp endorsed Jackson and urged voters to continue the state’s existing policy direction.
