Woman Killed in Harrisburg Shooting

An 18-year-old, Juel Diaz, was charged with homicide and carrying a firearm without a concealed-carry license after a woman was fatally shot in Harrisburg early Monday. Police said the shooting occurred on the 1900 block of Mulberry Street; officers found the woman on the 100 block of Hillside Road, where she was pronounced dead. The victim has not been publicly identified, and residents described the neighborhood as usually quiet. Police continue to seek information about the case.
