Rays Take 2-0 ALDS Lead Over Yankees

The Tampa Bay Rays beat the New York Yankees 5-2 in Game 2 of the AL Division Series, taking a 2-0 lead and putting New York on the brink of elimination. The Yankees committed four errors, including three in the first inning, and defensive miscues helped Tampa Bay build its lead and chase starter Cam Schlittler in the fifth. Ben Rice hit both of New York’s home runs, while Aaron Judge was unavailable and the rest of the lineup struggled. The series now moves to the Bronx, where the Yankees must win Game 3 to keep their season alive.
